Sorry for the delay and lack of New York Knicks coverage but just as many of you lost power and experienced many damages, so did we. But we are happy to be back and telling you all you need to know about your New York Knicks. On behalf of all the workers here at Knicks101.com we hope everyone is safe and recovering quickly from all of the damages of Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

But with Sandy, comes some more bad news. Despite the NBA announcing Tuesday that the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets will play as scheduled on Thursday night, today the NBA announced the game will be postponed.

The greatly anticipated game with a seemingly never ending wait will now require more patience from fans. They announced that due to Hurricane Sandy, public transportation will not be back running at full speed by game time, which will affect many fans trying to get to the game.

Also, a date has not been set for when they will finally play this game in Brooklyn. As for the New York Knicks home game against the Miami Heat on Friday, last word said it will be played but don't be shocked if this game gets postponed as well.

So the wait continues to see the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets start their 2012-2013 campaign but for now getting New York and all other places affected by the storm back on their feet is a priority and players and fans alike will just have to wait some more.
