New York Knicks Will Play Regular Season Game in London

The New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons will compete in a game overseas in London on January 17th.  The Game was originally scheduled to be a Detroit home game so the Knicks will not be losing a home game off of their schedule.  It is the second consecutive year that the NBA will have a game overseas.

Both teams will have ample time to get ready for the trip.  Detroit has 4 days off before the trip and 2 days off after.  The Knicks have 3 days off before and after the game.  That should allow both teams plenty of time to adjust to the time difference and get situated when they get there and when they get home.

The Arena they are playing the game should be familiar to Olympians Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony.  This is the same arena where they played the Olympic games this past Summer.
